Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the J&M Advocacy Group platform ("Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Platform. The Platform is operated by Melcole LLC.

Description of Service

J&M Advocacy Group provides digital tools to help parents and guardians understand their rights under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act. The Platform includes educational content, document templates, goal and accommodation tracking, meeting preparation tools, and document storage ("Advocacy Binder"). We also offer personal advocacy services including document review, meeting coaching, and meeting attendance on a separate fee basis.

Account Registration

You must be at least 18 years old and the parent or legal guardian of the child whose information you enter. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate and current information during registration and to update it as needed.

Subscription Plans and Payment

The Platform offers Free, Prepared, and Prepared + Advocacy subscription tiers. Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually at the rates published on the Platform at the time of purchase. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. Personal advocacy services are scoped and priced separately after consultation.

Free Tier Limitations

The Free plan supports one child per account. Features including the Know Your Rights guide, jargon translator, starter questions, and limited Advocacy Binder storage (5 files) are included. Additional children, advanced features, and expanded storage require a paid subscription.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Platform only for its intended purpose: to support your family's advocacy for your child's educational rights. You may not:

Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you upload, enter, or create on the Platform, including your child's data, observations, and documents. By using the Platform, you grant Melcole LLC a limited license to store, process, and display your content solely to provide the Platform's services to you. We will never use your content for any other purpose without your explicit consent.

Intellectual Property

The Platform, including its design, code, educational content, letter templates, and tools, is the property of Melcole LLC and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Letter templates are provided for your personal use in advocating for your child and may not be resold or redistributed commercially.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Melcole LLC and J&M Advocacy Group shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform. Our total liability for any claim related to the Platform shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Termination

You may close your account at any time by contacting info@jmadvocacygroup.com. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, we will delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, and you may request an export of your Advocacy Binder data prior to deletion.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice on the Platform at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Collin County, Texas.
